Florida

I know it has been awhile since I wrote anything on here. I am currently in FL visiting my family with Lexi for the first time. The great grandparents are just eating her up and loving every minute of it. This is the first time anyone except my mom and sister Heather have met her. She has done so well considering all the travel we have been doing. On the airplane she didnt even cry once. She mainly just slept the whole time. The first 2 nights she slept through the night. She is just the perfect little angel. We have taken her out in the grove picking oranges, let the cat sniff her feet, put her near the horse, and had an outdoor cookout. :)

One thing I have noticed since being here is Lexi loves to be outside. If she is crying just take her outside and she stops. Must be just the fresh air and sunlight. Lexi loves to look at the light. Another thing we have discovered is that she likes to look at the ceiling fan. She just stares at it going around and around.

This is the first time I have got to see my brother in over a year. He lives in Wisconsin now and I never get to see him. He came down with his girlfriend Alicia. He loves to play with Lexi. I miss joking around with him.

My Mom had bought some material and fabric planning on making Lexi some cute dresses but hadnt gotten around to doing it yet. I got her into gear and she whipped out a gorgeous dress for Lexi in just a few hours. I will post a picture of it later. I am going to attempt to make a dress with my Mom tomorrow. We will see how that goes.

Tomorrow is a big day for us, we are blessing Lexi. This is such a great moment to be able to share with my family and to give her a name and a blessing of comfort and let her know that she is loved by all. It is amazing how much a parent can love a child. I never knew you could have love like this. Lexi is the most amazing thing in this whole world and Scott and I are greatful for her everyday.
