Lexi's 9 Month Check up

Where did the time go...I cant believe Lexi is 9 months old already. She is growing up too fast. We went to the Dr today and here are her stats:

Height: 27.8 in. 70%
Weight: 16% 10%
Head: 42.8 cm 20%

Still tall and skinny. Today she only got one shot for the measles so it wasnt that bad. I could tell Lexi was a lot older this time because she was more aware of what was going on and didnt like the situation as much. Surprisingly the Dr told us to not feed her baby food anymore and give her adult food. This was a shock to me I guess I just wasnt prepared for this. Now I actually have to plan out meals instead of just going and grabbing a jar from the pantry. I am excited to see how Lexi likes real food because she is always trying to eat our food anyway. So this will be an adventure.

Its only a matter of time before she adventures out and tries to walk. She already does laps around the coffee table and walks behind her walker just pushing it along. She is trying to stand but only lasts about 5 seconds. I definitely dont know if this is a good thing or not that she is trying to walk so early.

Her favorite things now are turning off and on the light switch, waving at anyone and especially herself in the mirror, playing with her Dad, going anywhere in the stroller, taking baths, playing peek-a-boo, patty cake, watching the microwave go around and around, jumping up and down, reading her books, and just being with her parents.

She is such a happy baby and so full of life. Scott and I love her very much!!
