Owlz games and The Used

The summer is coming to a close and that means that The Owlz games are almost over. Our whole summer consists of going to games every night almost. Lexi has enjoyed going to the games as well. We have been trying to get her to hoot but I dont think she gets it. Friday night we went up to Ogden to see them play. It is a long ride up there but it was worth it because we got a victory. The Ogden Raptors stadium is less than to be desired so we ended up sitting on these bleachers with no backrest or arm supports. After 3 straight line drives and a little girl getting hit in the head we decided to go sit in the regular seats for safety. It was a fun trip up. Here is some pictures of Lexi and us at some recent games.

Scott and I are both actually heading out this Thursday to go places so Wednesday will be our last game of the summer. It is a sad day in the Beaudin house but we definitely look forward to the end of June every year. I know we are weird being obsessed with a single A baseball team but it is some of our best times we spend together as a family. Hooooot, Hoooot.

Scott is heading to Phoenix on Thursday and Lexi and I are heading to Florida to visit my family. I am lucky Scott is flying out the same time as me so he can help me go through security but I am curious to see how the flight will be because Lexi does not sit still now she has to be into everything. She is a little ball of energy. I can not wait for my family to see her they will be so shocked with how much she has changed in a short month.

Saturday we headed to the University Mall to see Scott's favorite band The Used. Since Scott didnt preorder their CD from Graywhale he wasnt allowed to go in and get an autograph from them but we waited around and when they came out we were allowed to get a picture with them. One of the guys was playing with Lexi so she wasnt looking at the camera. We are going to their concert in October and Scott might go see them the next day in Denver with his friend Dain. Scott wants to be able to go to several places to see them play in concert but with a baby now thats not quite as easy as before. So we will see what happens.

Also BYU upset #3 Oklahoma last night 14-13. It was a good game. Scott wanted to drive down around BYU after just to see what people were doing and we were glad we did. People were going crazy, running in the streets, clapping peoples hands in their cars, honking horns, chanting, and cheering. It was craziness. You would have thought we just won the National Championship. Scott got some of it on video. It is hilarious. Well I need to go get ready for church. Lexi is getting harder and harder because she does not want to sit still but we will see how it goes.
