Yesterday we took Lexi to her first BYU football game. We hadnt really planned on going but Scott will be out of town for most of the games so this is one of our only opportunities to go to one. We decided to head down to the stadium and try to scalp some cheap tickets. We put Lexi in her stroller and headed out.
We checked out the pregame festivities, listened to the band, and just kinda chilled before trying to find some tickets. We sat on the curb outside the stadium and was able to pick up 2 tickets for only $10 bucks. Then we scalped Jon and Celeste some tickets because they were meeting us later.
We went and sat down on the East side of the stadium, you might know starring directly into the sun. We were prepared with hats and sunglasses but Lexi refused to have anything on her head so it got pretty hot. I went and stood down under the bleachers with her and watched the jumbo tron and waited to give the tickets to Jon and Celeste. When they got there Lexi was so tired but it was a little cooler. After she got a quick nap in she was raring to go. She loved it and was even clapping for the Cougars.
She just had fun playing and drinking water out of the soda bottle.
She will always be a fan of BYU but for Scotts sake UVU will always come first. :) Lexi had a great time and we will definitely take her again. It was a little difficult with her Im not gonna lie but it is worth it to spend time with Lexi every time she experiences something new.
Oh yeah and the Cougars won. It was a good game considering they just lost to FSU the week before. Overall it was a great time.
