Next we went to Jon's parents house to play crochet. I have not played crochet in so long, maybe since I was a little girl at my Granny's house. It was really fun. Scott and Jon won both times we played. Lexi was such a good girl and just played on a blanket in the shade the whole time.

Later on in the day we headed up the canyon again for a campfire and a cookout. Scott's parents graciously watched Lexi so we could enjoy our night. It was a good time. We roasted hot dogs and had some smores.

Scott and Jon always have a nifty trick for keeping our drinks cold. Put the drinks in a plastic bag and stick them in the river. This never fails to keep them cold.

Thanks to my Eagle Scout husband, Scott, for making the fire cause Life Scouts arent certified to make fires. Just kidding Jon.

Looks like so much fun. I love being with good friends and just relaxing. Great pictures Audrey. The canyons are so beautiful right now. Oh...and my husband isn't an Eagle Scout but somehow he is pretty good at building fires...I tease him that I'm surprised he knows how. (:
ReplyDeleteJust because I never reached the level of Eagle Scout doesn't mean I couldn't do it. I just decided to let Scott so that he thought he was cool! We had a fun day with you guys! Let do it again next year.
