The flowered one I made for Taylor then I decided I had to make one for my friend who is having a boy next week and I havent sent her gifts yet so I decided to make the red polka dot one for her. I will be making lots more bibs for Taylor because they are so easy to make.

These shoes are also for my friend who is having a boy next week. I created my own pattern for these from a previous one I had (see here). After a few trial and error I nailed it.

I had a pile of clothes I was gonna give to D.I. (like Goodwill) and I had been surfing the web on craft blogs and ran across this great tutorial on taking one of my shirts and making it into a skirt for Lexi. It was so easy to do and they turned out great.
Of course I forgot to take pictures of the before shirts so I just grabbed some pics off ae.com and downeastbasics.com.
Total cost for these projects: FREE. I already had some thread and elastic.
So this:
Became this:
and this (similar shirt from AE was used):
became this beauty of a skirt (Im in love with this one):

I have also been making more flowers and headbands. I bought another pattern off of Etsy from Snazzie Drawers. That turned into these cute flowers.
Enjoy!! Im sure I will have many more projects to come.

You are so dang talented. those bibs and skirts are so cute. I love how they turned out. I am trying to become a better seamstress, but I don't get to practice very often. Wish I had more time and wasn't such a perfectionist.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you come up with next.
