Pierced Ears

Scott and I decided we wanted to get Lexi's ears pierced. A lady at my church offered us some numbing cream. This wasnt just any numbing cream, this was heavy duty stuff. She works at a hospital and her daughter didnt even cry when she got her ears pierced so it was definitely worth a shot especially with all the trauma Lexi has been through lately. We gobbed that stuff on her ears and kept putting more and more on. I am pretty sure there is no way she could feel her ears. We went to the mall and picked out some pretty earrings and held our breath as the lady marked the dots on her ears. Now was the time to see if the numbing cream worked or not. She got out the gun and put it up to her ear and nothing, Lexi didnt even bat an eye. It worked!!! The lady said she has never had a baby not cry before. I was so happy. Lexi looks so cute with her new earrings.
