For the Little Ballerina...

Our good friends little girl is turning 4 next Friday and she is quite the little dancer.  I made her this cute dance bag using this tutorial. 

It was very easy to make and I added some things to make it my own.  I freezer papered her name and the shoes on the front and then I added the bows to the shoes.  I hope she loves it. 

  

I used duck cloth for the outside and flannel for the inside.  I recommend a heavier weight fabric for the outside because i used just cotton fabric on a previous one and it was to flimsy.

 

On a side note Scott doesnt like that I keep putting all these sewing projects up on our family blog so I will think about starting a sewing blog but that might be to much pressure to update it more frequently.  We will see, but for now you can see all the projects I am working on here which isnt that many but hopefully more soon.
