This past Monday was my 25th birthday. Man I can not believe I am 25 yrs old. I am pretty proud of my accomplishments up to this point in my life. I have a great husband, a beautiful daughter, a condo, Scott and I are finished with school, and Scott has a great job. For my birthday we went to the Orem Owlz game. They are always fun (we have season tickets). Scott got me some photography classes as well. I just had my workshop this past Saturday and I learned a lot. It was a great birthday.

Now on to Lexi, I can not believe how much she has grown and all the new things she is doing. She eats all kinds of foods: Bananas, applesauce, pears, squash, and rice cereal. She loves them all. She is rolling all over the place. I will often leave the room and come back and wonder how she possibly got where she was. She is sitting up for about a minute at a time now. For the past month now she has slept through the night every night. I have stopped breast feeding her so she is strictly on formula. Every time we give her a bottle we say to her bottle, bottle over and over so she is starting to learn that and when she hears us say that and sees the bottle coming she gets all excited and holds out her hands and puts it in her mouth. She sticks out her tongue constantly. She is such a happy baby.

Last night American Fork city has their celebration called Steel Days. They have a carnival, crafts, parade, classic car shows, events, and fireworks. Scott and I had never been to the festivities before so yesterday we decided to check it out. While I was at my workshop Scott took Lexi to the parade and they had a good time sitting in the shade. Later that night they had an event called Reality Night. This consisted of American Fork Idol and Biggest Loser. There were 12 contestants who sang and some were good and some werent. They also had people who for the last 4 months had been losing weight so they announced the winners. This venue was at a big park and everyone was out laying on there blankets and sitting in chairs. It was just a very nice, chill, and relaxing evening. Then when that was over it was time for the fireworks. They were awesome. The show went on for about 20 mins. Lexi loved watching the fireworks until next thing I knew she fell dead asleep in the middle of them. Overall it was a great family night.
